Personality: Lunafreya is compassionate and nurturing - which is a good quality for the Oracle to have. It’s her duty to take care of others, ranging from the Chosen King Noctis to citizens inflicted with the Scourge. It’s a duty Lunafreya takes to gladly and with little reservations, and it’s something she excels at. She has a large heart, and she’s glad to do what she can for the people around her. She cares, deeply, for those she loves and is always willing to use her gifts as the Oracle to help those around her. She is a healer first, and royalty much farther down the line. (Especially considering what happened to her kingdom.)

While she does have an admittedly soft heart, she manages to keep her calm and keep her head level. She’s not afraid of anything that stands before her, and doesn’t panic even when face to face with the goddess Leviathan’s anger. Nothing is enough to sway her or cause her to falter, and she rolls with what happens with little breaking down. The closest she comes to fear is when Noctis has been struck down, but even still she doesn’t crumble. She’s a person who will go out of her way to save others, but she does so rationally and calmly. While it would be easy for her to be over-emotional or over-invested or overly kind, she thinks before acting and always does what she thinks is best, not simply what she feels would be best. She cares much but her thoughts are always kept clear. She doesn’t let herself get swept away in her emotions, even when acting on them.

However, that has some downsides. She’s dedicated to her duty to the point she cares little for her own life. Knowing she’s going to die doesn’t deter her, and it’s something she willingly accepts because she sees no reason to fight for her change. While she doesn’t gladly accept her death, she accepts her death as an inevitability. Her life is not worth saving if being alive means others will have to suffer. It’s not a particularly healthy mindset to have, but Luna is dedicated to her duty to a point where everything else must be put aside for it.

She is grimly determined to see the prophecy fulfilled. She will do whatever she can within her power to see it done, from holding onto the Ring of the Lucii until she no longer can, facing Leviathan, or her death. She is stubborn and resourceful and while she does accept her fate, she’s determined to make sure everything falls as it must in order for their Star to be saved. She faces all of this calmly, still - while she would probably be well within her rights to protest her fate or fight it or fight the situations she’s had to find herself in, she keeps her head held high and her emotions calm and steady. She’s stubbornly committed to keep to her goals, again, even at the cost of her own life and safety.

She’s used to being in danger, after all. Her life has been one with a lot of struggles, and it’s that which has shaped her to be the calm, sharp woman she is currently. None of that has tempered her compassion, but it means she can come across as reserved. She’s clever and knows how to accomplish her goals, though, and that’s all she wants in the world. Considering her goals are to clear out the Starscourge, they’re pretty lofty, but she won’t fight her fate. Lunafreya is simply not a fighter. She’s a woman of compassion and her own sort of strength, yes, but she was raised and trained to be support. It’s not something she’s ever begrudged and it doesn’t mean she’s a doormat, but she is more of a tactician and a healer than a fighter. That includes fighting what was writ in stone by the gods.

The end result would mean her sacrifice is more than worth it. As long as Noctis survives and has the power of the Lucii behind him, her life is something she’s willing to give up on. The fact she’ll linger after her death has probably assuaged her even more, because the duty of the Oracle goes beyond life. It’s something she readily accepted and spent her life building up towards. To Lunafreya, the ends justify the means and she knows she’s not in this alone. She has what remains of her family, and Noctis and his retinue, and knowing they are there to see things through gives her peace. That’s all she wants, and it’s something she’s happy to have while she can.
Abilities: •Healing - as the Oracle, Lunafreya is gifted the ability to cure the Starscourge. Her healing ability goes beyond that - she can cure wounds and other illnesses beyond her official duty. It’s unclear what the limit to this healing magic is, if any, but she’s capable of bringing people back to perfect condition from the brink of death.
•Sanctuary - An ability of the Oracle that’s even less expanded on than her healing magic, Lunafreya is responsible for maintaining and establishing warded sanctuaries throughout the land. Presumably she could create new sanctuaries, warding them from attack by daemons. As there’s all of one daemon-ish creature in LA at the time of writing this app, this ability is kind of moot.
•Ghost - We’ve reached the least explain, most reaching ability. Lunafreya, thanks to some factor behind the Oracle’s power, can persist after death. While you could argue it’s just a creative choice, she’s capable of communicating with the living and influencing them and physical objects from beyond the grave. It’s how she passes Noctis the Ring of the Lucii, despite dying with it and her body disappearing. (It seems like she just. Doesn’t leave a body behind?) She can also still talk with her world’s gods in this form.
•Communion - She can talk to, summon, and understand the gods. Yes, that is unique to her even though she’s doing that on Noctis’s behalf.
Inventory: •Trident of the Oracle - an ornate trident meant for ritual use, it belongs to Lunafreya. It’s a trident. It can stab things.
•White dress - It’s an aesthetic choice.
